Savoring Health

I am a 21-year-old college student. In spring of 2011 I found myself at the largest I have ever been: 5'3" and 165 lbs. At that moment I decided to start making changes.

TO DO: decrease my portions, eat better quality food, stay active

NEVER: deprive myself of enjoying life, lose weight in an unhealthy way

SW: 165
CW: 125
GW1: 153
GW2: 145
GW3: 135
UGW: 115
Starting size: US size 10
Current size: US size 4-6

Tuesday Intake:

  • Breakfast: Kashi granola mixed with cheerios (100)
  • Lunch: Turkey sandwich with l/t/o and mustard on wheat (400)
  • Dinner: French onion soup (50), Salad (100), Green beans with roasted tomatoes (88)
  • Snack: Kashi banana chocolate chip bar (140)

Total: 878

I’m seriously not trying to have intakes so low… I’ve just been trying harder to listen to my body regarding how much food it actually needs to be satisfied rather than planning my meals by the numbers, and this is how it works out.
