Savoring Health

I am a 21-year-old college student. In spring of 2011 I found myself at the largest I have ever been: 5'3" and 165 lbs. At that moment I decided to start making changes.

TO DO: decrease my portions, eat better quality food, stay active

NEVER: deprive myself of enjoying life, lose weight in an unhealthy way

HIATUS

I will be on hiatus for a few weeks. I’m not sure if I’ll post at all- maybe now and then so you know I’m still alive, but I won’t be doing intake posts. Actually, I’m kind of temporarily off eating for weight loss, just for a brief time. I’m not crazy and I’m not sick- this is just for religious purposes, and while I’ll actually be eating quite healthily, I find it inappropriate to fixate on calories and goal weights when I’m supposed to be limiting intake with spiritual growth as my motivation.

I’ll still answer asks if you want to send them, and I may update occasionally, but basically this blog will be relatively dead until after Easter. Sorry to my followers, but take care and I hope to see you again soon. :)
